Katramopoulos Jewellery takes London by Storm

Katramopoulos participated in Salon QP 2012 as the only jewellers among the finest watches and watchmakers in the world. London collectors, enthusiasts, buyers and media visiting the Saatchi Gallery had the opportunity to admire entirely hand made, unique pieces from the Katramopoulos collection earlier in November.

The Sound of Art event – KJ West One

At “The Sound of Art” you will be able to experience some of the most advanced audio technology as well as Home Theater systems all within the beautifully refurbished private listening facilities at KJ West One, leader in the world’s finest high-fidelity for over four decades.

The art will be merged harmoniously with music through the use of especially assembled KJ West One’s sound systems.

The main listening room will feature magnificent AIDA – a speaker by Sonus Faber that represents an Art of a new era. As grandiose as an opera by Giuseppe Verdi, the speaker is publicly demonstrated for the first time in the UK, exclusively at KJ West One.

For those who love The Rolling Stones we will present a whole room dedicated to original paintings by Ronnie Wood combined with exclusive live performances by the Rolling Stones Live through a ‘Steinway’ Home Cinema Surround System.

The evening is in collaboration with Tempus Magazine, Absolute Sounds, the International Distributors and Consultants to the UK high end audio industry and the Grammy Award winning independent record label Amiata, who will present high quality and distinctive recordings.

Amir Khan at Frost of London

Our friends at top London jeweller Frost of London recently invited us down to the store for an exclusive charity auction and meet and greet with champion boxer (and mad keen watch collector) Amir Khan. After we’d fought our way through the waiting paparazzi outside the Mayfair store, and helped ourselves to a glass of champagne and some delicious canapés once inside, we had a fantastic evening rubbing shoulders with the great and good of the sporting world. Footballer John Carew and boxer Lennox Lewis were both in attendance, while a number of notable business types made some generous bids for the boxing-related auction prizes, racking up over £30,000 for charity in under 30 minutes.

This year sees awards across 19 categories, showcasing Asian builders and International brands, as well as Asian regattas, marinas and yacht designers working in Asia. Created by Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines in 2005, the idea of the awards is to recognise the best of the Asian maritime industry.
